What Is Self Resistance Training?
Well, "resistance training" is exercise that contracts the muscles (aka. strength training). Self-resistance training (SRT) is the practice of using one's own self to produce the necessary resistance, not relying upon any outside forces or machines like pulleys, hydrolics, bands, etc. One of the great things about SRT is you can do it at home with no expensive equipment to buy. So forget the gym, abolish the ab-lounger, and throw out the ThighMaster and explore the awesomeness of SRT.

If you want to do a handstand, get John Peterson's book "Balance Of Power" at Transformetrics.com. Once you've worked through the exercises and developed the strength required to hold you bodyweight, these drills will help you develop your balance. I don't recommend you fall into a bridge they was I do at the end of this video, it's part of a stunt I'm working on and I did it just out of a force of habit.
